While living in the nation’s capital, Whitney immersed herself in the budding fashion scene – as a makeup artist for CHANEL Beauté within major department stores and as an intern at various fashion and entertainment public relations startup firms. In 2021, she took all her fashion and beauty experience and started her namesake label in service of tall women. With the mission to solve a problem that she herself had – not being able to easily access luxury quality, affordable apparel for her 5’9”, 35” inseam frame – Whitney Allysyn launched in June 2023.
